The world of IT is pretty small, you always meet familiar faces and can exchange experiences in a wonderful way. You can talk shop or exchange ideas about the latest technologies. The event is attended by over 10,000 people in Barcelona. There are also other events in the USA and Japan.
The exhibition on vmware explore
On the one hand there is a huge exhibition. Here you can find out about all the new systems and manufacturers that have rank and name in the field of public cloud and data center. Not only VMware itself exhibits here, but also many others. For example Microsoft, NVIDIA, ControlUp, Dell, HPE and many more. At the booths you can talk to experts and learn many interesting things.
The Community
Of course, numerous vExperts will be at the vmware explore and will share their knowledge with you in exciting discussions. The Sessions
The vmware explore lasts three days. Before that, an exclusive event for partners and major customers takes place one day each. On the one hand, there are numerous keynotes in which the latest innovations and technologies are presented. At the event itself, there are hundreds of presentations on all kinds of topics related to cloud, data center and automation. So if you want to learn something or just get an impression of the innovations, this is the right place for you.
At vmware explore Barcelona 2022 alone, there are 631 sessions on the topics: Open Source, DevOps, Security, Networking, Cloud Management, Kubernetes and much more.
Hands on Labs
At vmware explore there is a huge LAB and Learning area. Here you can test all products directly in front of everyone else. For this purpose, a mobile data center will be set up and many labs can be tested in advance. Where the heads smoke, it is also allowed to celebrate!
So far, vmware has spared no expense and effort. At each of the events that I was allowed to visit so far, there was always a special act. The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Jon Bon Jovi or Stereophonics have already performed there. Always on Wednesday evening, after the HallCrawl (here in the exhibition hall is already celebrated at the stands), the big party takes place here. Here all come together again, there is something to eat, good music and you can meet friends and colleagues. Networking is the most important thing at such events, because people usually keep in touch with each other via social networks even after the event, so they are always in touch.
